North Karnataka Women writers association, Taluka Kannada Sahitya Parishad, and Kannada department of our College Jointly organised a programme on the topic "Short Stories on women in the decade" by Mallika Ghanti, HOD Kannada department extension P. G. Centre Gulbargh-at Nandi halli Taluk:Sondur on 23rd Sept 2006.

6. Students of economics department had an interaction session with commissioner Shri P.Manivanan on the topic" the Budget of HDMC" on 4.12.06

7. Department of English organized a literary exhibition on "Famous English writers and their Contribution" on 2.12.06

8. Computer Science department organized an extension activity during Oct. and Nov. 2006. They imparted basic computer education to 30 girls of Karnataka State orphanage home.

9. Poetry writing workshop in Kannada was organized by Kannada Sahitya
Parishad and Kannada Department of the college.
